Artist's Comments
This lovely creature is Ethan Robert Rouge*, a Lab 5 moon moth chimera from Full Metal Alchemist with two auto-mail arms. This drawing shows him in the near aftermath of that experimentation, missing both one arm and one side of wings at the time. I decided to be extremely cruel to him in this. XD I found the fact that there were free moths fluttering around the lamp outside his cage incredibly ironic--after having added them without thought.
*He is actually in the Full Metal Alchemist manga, I've just taken him a step farther and given him a background--if you want to see his amazing six panels and four words, get volume 7 and look at chapter 27, pages 77-80. The majority of this drawing was done with mechanical pencil and colored pencils. The background was cleared with Adobe Photoshop and the background colors were added with Paint. This is an excellent drawing, it illustrates his suffering very well ( I just want to go in there and give him a hug!) and I love the shading and colouring too.
